DLL error:  msvideo.dll
I get the following error message when some graphics attempt to open: "The application or DLL c:\i386\MSVIDEO.DLL is not a valid Windows imagte. Please check this against your installation diskette. I have tried reinstalling it, without success. It is driving me nuts. Microsoft has been no help, and the KnowledgeBase is no help, and any fixes (reinstalling the DLL) I've found via the Web have not worked. The error message coincided with reinstalling AOL AIM, but that could just be coincidence.2 people need an answerI do too

It should be referencing the System32 folder instead. What program are you using for this? - can you uninstall it and reinstall it?Have you been using a registry cleaner? - can you restore the backups it should have created? Have you tried a System Restore to a point when the program worked correctly? -- Noel Paton | Nil Carborundum Illegitemi | CrashFixPC | The Three-toed Sloth

This answer did not help at all...still getting error as "annoyed" reported. Is there no upgrade to MSVIDEO.DLL that might correct this?
